Privacy policy.

When you take a diagnostic or sign up, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your answers to diagnostic questions
• Your score data — correct/incorrect breakdown by topic
• Browser and device info (user agent, IP, screen size) used for error monitoring and basic analytics

That's the scope. We don't ask for your name, phone number, address, or any data we don't need to run the product.

• To run the diagnostic and email your results
• To save your progress between sessions
• To improve the product — which question types confuse most candidates, what the score distribution looks like
• To process payments when you upgrade to a paid tier
• To respond when you contact us

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't run third-party tracking pixels.

To run the service we use:

• Vercel — hosts the website
• Supabase — stores your account and diagnostic data
• Resend — sends transactional emails (results, password reset)
• Sentry — captures error reports if something breaks
• Google — only if you sign in with Google OAuth; otherwise no Google involvement

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We chose them because they're SOC 2 compliant or equivalent.

• Active accounts: we keep your diagnostic data while your account is active.
• Account deletion: you can delete your account at any time from /account or by emailing privacy@journeymaniq.com. We delete your personal data within 30 days. We may keep aggregated, anonymized score data for product analytics.
• Anonymous diagnostics: if you take a diagnostic without signing up, we keep the session data for 90 days then delete it.

You can:

• Access the data we have on you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete your account and your data
• Export your data on request

We use cookies that are essential for authentication (so you stay signed in) and security. We don't use tracking cookies, ad cookies, or third-party analytics cookies right now. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and tell you.

JourneymanIQ is not intended for users under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has signed up, email privacy@journeymaniq.com and we'll delete the account.

If we make material changes, we'll notify users by email. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
